For international students hoping for a promising career, Finnish institutions offer a wide range of courses. Applications are open to international students for courses in applied science, business and management, IT, computer science, engineering and technology, journalism and media, social science, and architecture.

There are around 500 programs offered that teach English. One of the internationally recognized English language exams, such as the PTE Academic, IELTS Academic, or TOEFL, must be passed to apply to academic institutions in Finland that offer English as a second language.
